The Monk, the Necklace, and the Drunks

The world is a dangerous place. In order to let the Dao be, you need to know how to let things go, but you gotta trust your fists too. Cause eventually, they will be needed. Like the day the Daoist Monk was asked by two thugs if he would let the universe play its course if they took his necklace.

That wasn't an ordinary necklace, by the way. It was a gift from one of his masters in Wudang. Not valuable from a monetary stand point, but it was a precious reminder of his teacher's teachings. So the monk smiled, and chopped one of them in the neck. The bastard instantly dropped. Dead as meat. In shock, the other one asked: "weren't you supposed to let the Dao do its thing?" And the monk said, "yes, my fist is the Dao too. How about your feet?"
